This Marcos GT was supplied as a kit in 1981 and later completed by Marcos Heritage, being assembled and first registered in 2004. With only 1,772 miles recorded and two owners from new, it remains a very low-use example of the later continuation GT models. Finished in red with a tan interior, it presents the familiar long bonnet, compact cabin, and distinctive flowing bodywork that have become synonymous with the marque. The interior retains a traditional layout with analogue instrumentation and a wood-rimmed steering wheel, offering a simple and period-appropriate driving environment.

Powered by the 3.0 Essex V6 paired with an automatic gearbox, the car delivers a relaxed, pleasant drive with the gearbox working faultlessly, making it well suited to comfortable touring. Marcos, founded in 1959, built its reputation on lightweight, hand-built sports cars with individual styling and low production numbers, and the GT remains one of the recognisable shapes associated with the brand.

This GT has recently received a full service with us, including new tyres, new front brake calipers, fresh oils and a solid rack mount kit. As a result it drives extremely well, with improved steering response and smooth mechanical operation.
